The introduction of international Bachelor’s and Master’s courses has made TUM even more attractive to foreign students. The most recent addition is the Master’s program in Intelligent Transportation Systems which can be pursued at the TUM’s German Institute of Science and Technology (GIST) in Singapore. The TUM also features numerous Master’s programs held in English as well as undergraduate courses offering English lectures and practice sessions. English doctorates may also be awarded, and doctorate supervisors can be found at each of the 250 departments.

International Master’s programs available in English include, among others, Communications Engineering, Computational Mechanics, Computational Science and Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, Land Management and Land Tenure, Microwave Engineering, and Sustainable Resource Management.

TUM actively encourages the transfer of knowledge and technology. With the help of partners from the private and industrial sector, it builds bridges to professional experience for its students, supports the entrepreneurial activities of its alumni, and offers professionals opportunities for further education or “lifelong learning.”
